Join the Girl Talk Coffeehouse Community as we discuss Core Beliefs with Ana Bethencourt Yrausquin.

Our minds are meaning-making, story-making machines, and as such, they are constantly narrating stories about who we are and where we belong in the world. Core beliefs are deep-rooted stories our minds have created throughout our life about ourselves, other people, and the world. These stories are things we hold to be absolute truths deep down, underneath all our “surface” thoughts. They are principles and assumptions that inspire our daily thoughts and actions. Some core beliefs are helpful, such as "I can do hard things," and some can be self-limiting, such as "I'm not ___ enough."

In this Zoom discussion, guided by a resident counselor, you will learn to discover helpful core beliefs and learn research-proven techniques to identify and work with those self-limiting core beliefs that may lead us to live far beneath our potential.
