Come enjoy an evening of sisterhood as we chat confidence, failure, and authenticity with three passionate professionals! We'll be tackling the insecurities we face and how to confidently radiate worthiness in the workplace.

Natalie Peters

Natalie Peters is the owner, creative and certified color analyst of District Color Studio in Washington, DC. She is passionate about helping her clients discover their natural beauty through their unique color harmony, so they know their best colors for clothing, makeup and more. Prior to training and certification in color analysis, Natalie worked as an independent art scholar. Over the years, she has held positions at the Folger Shakespeare Library and various Smithsonian Museums where she worked on art exhibitions and alongside curators. In 2015, she earned her master’s degree in the History of Decorative Arts from George Mason University-Smithsonian Institution with a specialty in glass studies and design history. She contributed research to the exhibition catalog, Louis C. Tiffany and the Art of Devotion (2010) and was a contributing author to Tiffany’s Glass Mosaics (2017). Art and beauty are always on her mind in one form or another. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband.

Janaiha Bennett

Janaiha is a wife, mother and organizational leader. She serves as the Executive Director of the Youth Leadership Foundation (YLF), a 20-year non-profit that helps students achieve their goals through character formation and mentorship. Janaiha has been involved with YLF for fourteen years, beginning as a mentor at PALS (YLF's all-girls' program). She holds a Master's in School Psychology from the University of Maryland and a Certificate in Non-Profit Executive Management from Georgetown University.  A native Washingtonian hailing from Ward 7, Janaiha currently resides in Brightwood, DC with her husband and five children aged 14 months to 7 years. She enjoys spreadsheets, camping and basically anything that captures her kids' imaginations, which at present includes Phillies baseball, rice pudding and pretending to be a ninja.

Shannon White

Shannon is a Daisy-award winning, certified pediatric nurse who works at Children’s National Hospital in the Center of Cancer and Blood Disorders. In her current role, Shannon is a Clinical Program Coordinator for the hematology/oncology department, helping patients with Sickle Cell Disease navigate their complex care. She is also a nurse coordinator for Sickle Cell patients seeking bone marrow transplantation. In addition to her experience in the medical field, Shannon was deeply involved in Girl Talk since its founding in 2012 - as a student participant, Girl Talk Program Director, and Love, Girl Talk podcast co-host.
