Grace Bohlin

Mom Talk Coordinator

Grace came to Girl Talk through her participation in the Mom Talk program’s 4th season, which she claims “launched me on a journey of self-discovery that helps me reclaim joy in my motherhood everyday.” A wife to the dedicated and always hilarious Patrick, she is a happy mother of three boys aged (almost) 4, 2.5, and 8 months. She attended Oakcrest School, an all girls school in Virginia, and went on to achieve a Bachelor of Music degree from Furman University and a Master of Music degree from Westminster College. Then, a whirlwind year of performing in operas and concerts along the east coast found Grace disconcerted by life on the road which disconnected her from community “and left me feeling burnt out.” Providentially, she then met her husband and they embarked on a new adventure together. During this time, she taught music and built curricula for another all girls school and dove into local opera chorus work, liturgical music, and teaching voice lessons.

When the opera company she sang with closed its doors in Fall 2023, she knew something exciting must be in store. Sure enough, the Girl Talk Institute was calling her name, and she became a Girl Talk Ambassador for Mom Talk. A true believer in the power of Mom Talk, when asked to take the position of Mom Talk Coordinator, she quite literally jumped at the opportunity. “I’m very grateful to the whole Girl Talk team for welcoming me with open arms and I look forward to our upcoming season of Mom Talk, coming soon to a mom pod near you!” We never said, she wasn’t a little corny…
