Girl Talk Coffeehouse

Girl Talk provides Coffeehouses to middle school, high school, and college students centered on self-confidence, friendship, and authenticity. Girl Talk speakers share their real-life stories with students, catered to the needs of the school and complemented with corresponding activities. The girls strengthen their self-confidence, improve friendships, and grow more fully into the women they were created to be.

What does a Coffeehouse include?

  • Personal Storytelling - Topics are selected by each school to best meet the needs of its students; Girl Talk Speakers then share personal stories that emphasize the chosen theme.

  • Self-Reflection - Through activities such as journaling, art, or music, we provide the environment for girls to soak in the positive messages they have just heard. 

  • Group Activity - Building upon their time of self-reflection, Girl Talk provides the space for young women to creatively work as a group to emphasize the value of self-worth.
